Jong Jazz's Performing Tour in China 2015
Invited and sponsored by AAA (Asian American Association of Boston), Jong Jazz (a band of 4 started by Blenda Lau) went on the performing tour in Guangzhou, China. It was an exciting experience to perform on various stages including concert hall, public space and schools along with other amazing talented artists, Julia Green, Li-wen Wang, Lucien Werner, Yuzhi Guan, Wen-xiong Gao.

The performing tour was reported on a lot of Chinese media, advocating the importance of fusion and development of art and music.
On January 6th, Jong Jazz was invited to attend a discussion session about art and music. The leader of the band, Blenda Lau, pointed out the importance of fusion music and how it will become the mainstream in film music industry.
In the various concerts that took place in Guangzhou through the week, Jong Jazz brought to the crowd a few songs in fusion style, putting Chinese music and Jazz music together.
